Hello again! Just a quick post to let you all know Ulta's putting their Red Carpet Manicure gel polishes on sale. I don't think this happens often, but for 4/21 through 5/12 (I believe, at least) they are Buy-One-Get-One Half Off, making them $7.50 each.
The sale is also online, too.

DeleteI like Red Carpet Manicure colors retty well so far--they have a good lasting power! Sometimes Red Carpet Manicure colors are a bit thinner and sheer at first, but I can build it up in two or three coats--of course, if you want a sheer color, this isn't a problem anyway. Many people think they're made by the same people that make Gelish, which is a popular gel polish with professionals.
I don't have any of their sheer shades, unfortunately, but I hear a lot about "Tre Chic" (which I know also has shimmer in it), "Camera Shy", and "Nervous with Anticipation". I'm sure they have more, though--I've checked out a lot of the lightest pinks in Ulta, and many of them are sheer, but I can't remember the names, unfortunately.
If you can't look in stores, what I do is try googling the names of colors you think you might like along with the brand name (that's what prompted me to start my own blog, after all!) I hope that may help you a little bit, even if I don't have direct experience!

DeleteRCM says that their gel polishes will cure with UV lights that are at least 36 watts. They themselves market two different styles of lighting that have different cure times. You would probably use the longer cure time recommendation--which is 2 minutes--for a UV light.
